Inboard Invades Vegas!

Welcome to 2017! The past year has been action-packed for Inboard, with great progress on getting to market, and we look forward to growing our company and our rider base in the coming year. We’ve got a number of exciting updates to the M1™ planned for 2017.

Inboard Invades Vegas

Inboard will be live at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas today & Friday. We’ll be streaming video via Instagram stories and Facebook Live all weekend. But this isn’t our CES, this is YOUR CES!! What do you want to see at CES? Tweet us or message us and we’ll make it happen. Want to see a celebrity ride an M1? Ask us and we’ll make it happen! Want to see an M1 vs a Lamborghini? Let us know and we’ll race them! Bored waiting in line for a ride at a Vegas hotel? Message us and we’ll come and show you how the M1 works! Want to see a famous tech CEO riding an M1? We’re on it!

Since it’s CES, we have a special treat for anyone here. All the M1’s we will have with us will have a sneak-peek high-torque firmware update on them. This new firmware update will be available for every M1 owner as a download later in January, but we wanted to get feedback on this update from the well-informed tech attendees of CES and make refinements as needed.

Follow us on TwitterInstagram and Facebook the rest of this week. We’ll have surprise special announcements, giveaways, meet-ups, tricks, and we’ll be doing whatever you tell us to do (Within the limits of Nevada law, good taste, and the laws of physics).

High-torque firmware update

Later this month we’ll issue a very exciting new firmware update. This update will fix several minor bugs, but more importantly it will adjust the low-speed torque of the M1. This will give the M1 more torque off the line and through the entire power band for better response, smoother throttle control, and better hill climbing.  We’re going to continue to push the envelope of what the M1 can do with firmware updates, with a primary focus on further increasing performance and battery efficiency. Expect the M1 to continue to improve over time, and please send us feedback on your M1 via support@inboardtechnology.com. We’re always listening for great ideas to improve the ride!

All Kickstarter boards shipped

During the holidays Inboard completed shipping all of the M1s that were ordered by our Kickstarter backers. We’re also excited to announce that we are on target to ship all remaining M1 pre-orders by the end of January. If you have any questions on when your M1 will ship please reach out to us at support@inboardtechnology.com.
